The collaboration between Cyrus Genève and Chronode resulted in the creation of the “Klepcys GMT Retrograde” model, a watch that embodies innovation and watchmaking precision. This timepiece features an entirely new in-house automatic movement, characterized by its retrograde second time zone function. The case has been resized for optimal comfort, now measuring 42mm in diameter, and is made from grade 5 titanium, making it both robust and lightweight. The crown at 3 o’clock allows for manual winding and time setting, while a fixed crown at 9 o’clock incorporates a pusher to adjust the local time.

The caliber CYR708 movement, the heart of the watch, is designed with meticulous attention to technical and aesthetic details. This caliber, 38 mm in diameter and 7.10 mm thick, includes 278 components and 41 jewels, operating at a frequency of 4 Hz for a power reserve of at least 55 hours. The bridges decorated with slightly curved rays, the openwork oscillating weight and the polished head screws reflect Chronode’s know-how in watchmaking finishing. The main function includes displaying local hours and minutes, small seconds, and a second time zone with a retrograde hand for home time.

The design of the “Klepcys GMT Retrograde” is distinguished by its three-dimensional dial in several levels, integrating transparent sapphire elements and luminescent indicators for optimal readability. The rhodium-plated and openwork hands, as well as the helix-shaped small seconds hand, add a distinctive touch to the model. Waterproof up to 10 ATM, this timepiece is designed to be as functional as it is aesthetic. This watch is produced in a limited series, with only 50 pieces available per version, thus offering exclusivity to lovers of fine watchmaking.
